Summer Top Knit-A-Long!

NITH Summer Knit Along

It’s almost time for Needles in the Haymarket’s Summer Knit Along!  This will be different from your average knit along, as we are offering five choices of patterns instead of one!  You, the knitter, get to choose which project to knit with us!

Each employee has chosen a summer top pattern, all with different levels of difficulty.  Yarn suggestions are given for each pattern.

The Rules:

Cast on is Monday, July 1, 2019, 12:00 p.m.  Everyone is welcome to join us for a Cast On Party, but you do not have to be here that day to participate.  Gauge swatching ahead of time is okay and encouraged.

The KAL will end Monday, August 5, 2019, 5:00 p.m.  What qualifies as finished?  Ends woven in, blocked and ready to wear.

Everyone who finishes by the deadline should email a picture to the shop at needlesinthehaymarket@gmail.com, post to our Facebook page or Instagram at #NITH2019KAL, or stop by the shop with the finished project by 5:00 p.m. August 5^th.  Of course, we love to see finished projects in person, so please stop by and show off your masterpiece!

Those who have finished will be entered in a drawing for NITH gift cards in the amounts of $10.00, $25.00 and $50.00.  Drawing will be Wednesday, August 7, 2019.  We will have a Show Off Your Finished Project Party on Thursday, August 8^th, starting at 5:00 p.m. (Come even if you didn’t finish!)

We ask that yarn for the project be purchased from Needles.
